Gio Choi, a high school student from Blair academy, is an ambitious individual that has strong interests in African culture, specifically the witchcraft culture, as well as the shamanism practices in his own culture in South Korea.

 

Based on the trip that he made to The Gambia and the multiple interviews that he has conducted, he has gained significant insight into drawing similarities into the cultures of two completely different continents of the world.

 

His experience and findings brings unique cultural, social, and religious ties that help to preserve and analyze the witchcraft culture of Africa and the shamanism culture in Korea.
